Water Savings with Penn Bents

Does your putting green have a drinking problem?

In the age of going green, is there any better way than saving water? Clubs around the world are faced with a shortage of water, using effluent water or buying it just to keep green. Water management is the key to savings and Tee-2-Green bents need less water to survive than older bents and poa annua greens.

An Oregon State University study shows that poa annua needs more water than any other species, and up to twice as much water as bentgrass to survive. Of course, letting poa annua go thirsty leads to other problems. Intervene and break the water habit by interseeding or renovating your poa annua-stricken greens with the Penn bents.

Penn bents are the water-saving solution that conserves time and money. See the study for yourself at: www.tee-2-green.com/research_studies
