I wanted to give a shout out to Mike Lee and his crew on a fantastic job

on getting his course ready for the Open. Mike has recently finished a total regrass

of the greens to A4, and I will be the first but not the last to tell you they are fantstic.

It will be exciting to see the positive reaction of the players to the super fast, smooth putting greens.

I visited early this spring and the course conditions were un-real for that time of the year.
